American rapper and actor, 50Cent who owns a Farmington mansion and listed 50 Poplar Hill Drive as his residence, has filed for Chapter 11 personal bankruptcy protection on 13 July 2015. In court papers, 50Cent reported his assets and debts each in the range of $10 million to $50 million.
The filing comes 3 day after when Jury ordered 50cent to pay $5 million to his ex-girlfriend Lavonia Leviston, because he posting a sex tape online featuring his gf without her permission. The judgment of the court was made up of $2.5 million for using her personal image and another $2.5 million for emotional distress.
